Itinerary
The tour starts between 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. We will either pick you up at the meeting point assigned. We will go by car on a 45-minute ride towards the Canal Itabaca to board the boat to sail from the channel to North Seymour Island, located 2 km from this site.
The tour will begin with a dry landing on a slippery black basalt stone, please make sure you bring appropriate shoes as some hiking in uneven terrain will take place. The hike takes a short climbing walk over “pillow lavas”, afterwards the terrain becomes more regular and easy to walk.
After the walk, you will go snorkeling on the fresh and turquoise waters of the island, it’s normal for sea-lion pups to get close to swim and play.
